Vertical Capital Markets Group LLC announced today that John M. Harline of Coto de Caza, a seasoned sales manager with Fortune 500 experience, has joined the firm as Executive Vice President and National Sales Manager.
John has shown a commitment to excellence and proven leadership ability throughout his career, said Vertical President Bayard Closser. He has successfully built sales teams for Fortune 500 companies and has in-depth experience in the financial services industry. Were thrilled to have him join Vertical.
Harlines career in the financial services industry spans over 20 years. He comes to Vertical Capital Markets Group from Transamerica Capital Management, Denver, Colo., where he was National Sales Manager. Before joining Transamerica, he served as Senior Vice President and head of the Financial Institution Division at the ING Group, West Chester, Penn. While at ING, he also served as a Divisional Vice President and as a Regional Vice President.
He began his career at Endeavor Group in Corona Del Mar, where he started as an Internal Sales Associate, became a National Sales Coordinator and then advanced to the position of Managing Director.
He earned a bachelors degree from the University of California, Irvine and an MBA from Pepperdine University, Malibu.
